Archer Hotel New York

A truly wonderful hotel right in the heart of of New York close to the main attractions, subway and good restaurants (Bryant Park is excellent for restaurants and ambiance). This hotel is very friendly and has a great SPYGLASS roof top bar looking out directly at the Empire State building and is lovely in the evening for a cocktail. We booked an Empire view room which was great but not worth the extra money really when you can go up to the rooftop bar and see it in the open air for all its glory for no extra cost. Staff were all excellent and made you feel welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. We would truly recommend this hotel as a great base for a short break to New York City.

Love the Archer Hotel We had a fabulous stay at the Archer Hotel! Even before we left home, we were receiving emails welcoming us. When we arrived, we were really pleased with the hotel’s location, new decor, cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. Although the room was small, which is typical of hotel rooms in New York, it was very comfortable and the bathroom shower was great! There is a microwave and fridge in the room as well. Treats were left for us daily which was so sweet! You could not hear the outside city noise and with the very comfortable bed, it was easy to get a good night’s sleep! We had breakfast in the hotel and dinner at the rooftop bar - both delicious! There was 24/7 coffee, tea and water in the lobby too. The staff were amazing! Kyra went out of her way to try to locate a package that did not arrive at the hotel and Joseph was so helpful! All in all, it was a great stay! I highly recommend the Archer and would definitely stay again!

the hotel has an excellent location. the staff is friendly and professional. the hotel looks very nice, in the room there is a mini fridge, hairdryer, iron, slippers... on the top floor there is an excellent bar with a perfect view. we felt safe in the hotel. we received excellent recommendations for jazz bars.

Our room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a great view of the empire state building. Extra bonus for having coffee, water and a fridge in the room. We visited the spyglass rooftop bar which had excellent espresso martini choices. We had breakfast in the lobby area which was good. We loved the morning coffee in the lobby to grab and go on our way out.

A charming boutique hotel in the middle of the city with super comfy beds and an amazing shower. Room size is not too bad (as we all know they are a bit tight in NYC) but cleaning was spotless (it passed my uv light torch test lol). Lovely quality amenities and a Nespresso machine with decaf coffee option is always a great idea. The hotel is located in a nice tourist-friendly area but also has a short walk to the subway if you want to explore a bit further. The hotel team is spectacular and they were very helpful and friendly in every single aspect during our stay. And last but not least, a rooftop bar (and weekend family brunch area) and a room with a view of the Empire State are always a great way to make the NYC experience even more memorable.
