Archer Hotel New York

A truly wonderful hotel right in the heart of of New York close to the main attractions, subway and good restaurants (Bryant Park is excellent for restaurants and ambiance). This hotel is very friendly and has a great SPYGLASS roof top bar looking out directly at the Empire State building and is lovely in the evening for a cocktail. We booked an Empire view room which was great but not worth the extra money really when you can go up to the rooftop bar and see it in the open air for all its glory for no extra cost. Staff were all excellent and made you feel welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. We would truly recommend this hotel as a great base for a short break to New York City.

Our room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a great view of the empire state building. Extra bonus for having coffee, water and a fridge in the room. We visited the spyglass rooftop bar which had excellent espresso martini choices. We had breakfast in the lobby area which was good. We loved the morning coffee in the lobby to grab and go on our way out.

Just completed a 5-nights stay at Archer Hotel New York in Feb 2025. The hotel's location is wonderful, being very accessible to the subway station, many eateries, shops and is about a 10-min walk to Times Square. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and met all my expectations. I would especially like to commend the hotel staff, Diana and Fabiola, for their prompt action in finding my prescription glasses and returning it to me by courier. The package was received the very next day, and saved me the hassle of making another pair of glasses.

The hotel is well located, it is quite small which is what we wanted. We were on the 21st floor with a great view of the Empire State Building. All we wanted in the room, comfortable beds, coffee making machine, a little fridge. There is a wardrobe with hangers, the bathroom is big and has nice toiletries. Complimentary coffee and iced water in the lobby. We didn't try the restaurant but they serve breakfast and dinner. There is a rooftop bar which we couldn't go to with a child, which is a pitty, but this is the USA.

We stayed at the Archer Hotel NYC in November and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were helpful and welcoming and they facilitated our request for a room on a high floor. We celebrated a birthday while at The Archer and were delighted to find a surprise birthday cupcake on arrival - a very thoughtful gesture. Our Empire View guest room was amazing with a wonderful view of the Empire State Building, as described. The room was stylish with a good design that offered space for storing our luggage. It was modern and clean and the beds were so comfortable, particularly after those long walks around the city! The extras included bathrobes and slippers, books, teatime treats and a fridge beside the minibar which was very convenient to store extra milk for tea/coffee or juice - such a welcome addition for families, in particular. The rooftop bar is amazing with good bar food and it gives a great view of the city. The Archer is a beautiful New York hotel in a convenient location for sightseeing in Manhattan but it's main strength is it's staff who know the importance of good customer service and we especially want to thank Scott who went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our birthday celebration stay. We look forward to another visit in the future and will recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to NYC.
